Summary

This project is being designed by GPD Group.  This project includes the widening of Atterbury Boulevard from Stratford Road to Lake Forest Drive (Approximately 6300 feet in length).  The existing road is approximately an eighteen foot wide uncurbed asphalt pavement. The area is relatively flat to rolling and localized storm drainage issues are prevalent.  The new facility will consist of an asphalt pavement with a width of twenty six foot (26’) face to face of curb. The project will include a portion of new storm and sanitary sewer work & pump station. The project design will also include sidewalks, drive aprons, streetlights, and traffic control work. The project will require the reconstruction of the pavement in order to lower the profile for proper drainage. The existing water line is to remain aside from valve box and hydrant adjustments.  Minimal improvements are planned on the side roads except as necessary to tie the profiles back in. The approximate cost of these future improvements is approximately $3.6M.
