Introduction

Street sweeping plays an important role in traffic safety, community appearance, and storm sewer maintenance. There are more than 100 curb-miles in the City. On average, they are swept at least three times per year.

In addition to the routine maintenance sweeping performed throughout the year (March – October), spring clean-up takes place in March to remove all of the debris/dirt left over from winter.

• Please do not dump any waste on the street. This includes garbage, yard waste, trimmings, or other materials.
• Please notify the City of any storm sewer problems in your neighborhood.
• If you see signs in your neighborhood that street sweeping activities will take place, please do not park in the street.
